The 42-year-old Dallas Buyers Club star took to Instagram on Tuesday to share some very important news with his followers...he cut off his beard!
And he kindly provided photographic evidence of his sexy new look.
"I cut off my beard #proof," the Oscar nominee captioned the shot of his freshly trimmed facial hair (doesn't he look handsome?!).
The actor has been sporting a full beard throughout the entire award show season, rocking some serious scruff at the Golden Globes, where he took home the Best Supporting Actor honor, and the SAG Awards, where he also won the Best Supporting Actor accolade for his performance in the Jean-Marc Vallée-directed AIDS drama.
And while Leto's not sporting an entirely clean-shaven look, we prefer his neat trim, as opposed to the bare face he once rocked circa 2006.
The Fight Club star most recently took to Instagram to reveal that he is a "pancake pro," sharing a clip of himself flipping a flapjack, not just once, but twice!
