Melissa George is a mommy!

The Australian-born actress and her French businessman boyfriend, Jean-David Blanc, welcomed their first child together on Monday.

George tweeted the happy news: "WELCOME TO THE WORLD! OUR BEAUTIFUL SON Raphaël Blanc just born at the American Hospital of Paris. THERE ARE NO WORDS TO DESCRIBE THE LOVE."

But happily, there are cap locks.

The proud parents have been dating for close to two years, since meeting at a BAFTA after-party in 2012.

George has most recently been on the small screen playing Chris Noth's comely pregnant ethics expert on The Good Wife.

Blanc is founder of the French cinema information gatherer-provider AlloCiné.

A very pregnant George made a glowing appearance in November at the CNN Heroes: An All Star Tribute Event at the American Museum of Natural History in NYC.

She revealed that she was expecting in August, telling OK!, "This baby is very wanted and very much what we've been waiting for. It's no secret that I've always wanted to be a mother, and every time I had a birthday I would just be a little bit sad. You don't mind clicking over another number when you've got something inside you, growing, that you've always dreamed about."

George, 37, was previously married to Claudio Dabed before divorcing in 2011, after which she briefly dated Russell Simmons.

And may the new mom have her happiest birthday ever later this year!
