University of Missouri football star Michael Sam has come out as gay.
The 24-year-old lineman recently opened up about his sexual orientation in interviews with ESPN and the New York Times, saying, "I came to tell the world that I'm an openly, proud gay man." If drafted by the NFL in May, Sam would be the first openly gay player in the league's history.
Needless to say, Sam's brave decision to open up about his homosexuality has garnered lots of support from celebrities and football players alike.
Stars like Michelle Obama, Ellen DeGeneres and Jesse Tyler Ferguson have taken to Twitter to share their congrats. But they're not the only ones. See the other celebs who've tweeted supportive message to Sam!
