The Vampire Diaries: When in doubt, let's threaten Jeremy and Matt's lives! The Vampire Diaries took yet another page out of these predictable playbooks, and once again we were left waiting to see who would come to their rescue. For Jeremy, dark Damon took him hostage in order to blackmail Bonnie into teaching a witch how to do a locator spell to find Wes. Katherine (still disguised as Elena) reluctantly rescued her tortured "brother," but ended up getting stabbed in the back (literally!) by Enzo. Unfortunately, after all the trouble he went through to find Wes, Damon ended the episode by getting a needle jammed in his neck. Better watch out all you other vampires, because Damon is craving your blood!
And as for Matt? He spent the majority of tonight still being the "Elena Cheat Sheet" for Katherine as she tried to win back Stefan's affections. With the help of his best bud Tyler, Matt eventually figured out that Katherine is playing doppelganger dibs on Elena's body. However, before he could tell anyone, Nadia kidnapped our quarterback. Who do you think will jump in and save Matt at the last minute this time? Does anyone else have déjà vu?
Reign: Pay attention class because all of these mind-blowing answers are going to be on the test: In tonight's Catherine-centric episode, we discovered that the cruel queen has actually had a lover for the entire time that she's been married—and it's the king's best friend, Richard! Richard arrived back in court and that's when all the secrets started pouring out: long ago, Catherine and Richard had a baby girl, but she was born with a large birthmark on her face (a sign back then that the baby was kissed by the devil).
Turns out, Nostradamus' father performed a number of experiments on the girl to try to get rid of the mark, but his poking and prodding only made the girl's face more and more disfigured. Ready to lose your minds? That girl is Clarissa! And here's one last thing to really make your jaws drop: Catherine poisoned Mary's bath tub and just as she had a knife against the young queen's throat, Clarissa saved Mary's life and we finally caught a glimpse of the girl's face. ‘Twas a crazy episode indeed, fair maidens.
American Idol: Welcome to the group rounds, Idol fans—there be some crazies out here. Like all seasons, we watched as the contestants battled what brink-of-death colds, choreography-induced injuries, and overly cocky group leaders for their chance to make it to the live rounds. Although the drama this year seemed to be especially hyped, we were thrilled to see some amazing front-runners emerge from a sea of not-so-special singers. One girl in particular, Briana Oakley, blew us away with her pitch perfect rendition of Lorde's "Royals." Briana, we'd like to pre-order your first single right away, mmmkay?
The Big Bang Theory: Roses are red, violets are blue—Sheldon and Amy made out and now we're freaking out just like you! Brace yourselves, Shamy fans, because our beloved and brilliant couple really kicked things up a notch in the love department on tonight's Valentine's Day themed-episode. While Leonard and Penny were off having sex—and almost inadvertently killed Raj's poor puppy, Sheldon, Amy, Howard and Bernadette took a romantic V-Day train ride.
Sheldon was of course in locomotive heaven, but when he neglected Amy all night to talk trains with a newfound friend, she was furious that their magic evening was ruined. Sheldon went off on one of his classic rants telling Amy, "You want romance? I'll give you romance!" He then pulled his lady close and planted a big smooch right on her lips. But in a shocking twist, Sheldon clearly was enjoying himself because he took a step closer and made that lip-lock last a whole 11 seconds. (You're damn right, we counted out all those precious seconds—It was totally worth it!)
And for the record: Amy's lips tasted like the brownie they had for dessert. Happy Valentine's Day, Big Bang Theory lovers!
