Getty ImagesElizabeth Hurley and Bill Clinton never had an affair, and Tom Sizemore (who allegedly recapped the fictional scandal on tape) says he made up the whole thing up when he was on drugs.
Speaking with HuffPost Live on Wednesday, Feb. 5, Sizemore called the story "not true" and blamed his reported audio ramblings detailing a yearlong tryst between Hurley and Clinton on his past drug use. (Hurley denied the "ludicriously silly" allegations on Twitter Wednesday.)
In a recording reportedly obtained by Radar, Sizemore claims to have arranged a secret meeting between the former president and Hurley, his ex-girlfriend, after meeting the then-president at a 1998 screening of Saving Private Ryan at the White House. Per the recording, this made-up meeting resulted in a yearlong affair that ended when Clinton said "I don't do love and I'm beginning to think I might love you."
But, Sizemore admitted Wednesday he "was never at the White House" and has "never met Bill Clinton."
"I'm not denying that I said these things," he clarified. "I don't remember saying them, but it's an old video tape, and they're the rantings of a guy...it's been well-chronicled that I had a very severe drug problem." (Radar claims the reported audio was recorded in January 2014. Sizemore, who states he's been sober since 2009, said Wednesday he has not heard the tape but believes it comes from a "very old" tape.)
Sizemore explained his "perceptions were not the greatest" during the times he was using drugs. He also wanted "to apologize to [Hurley] for any hurt or BS I caused her or the Clintons or anybody else I may have mentioned."
