This is no joke, Psychos.

Psych has been canceled by USA Network after eight seasons, the network announced on Wednesday.

The comedy, which stars Dule Hill and James Roday, will wrap up its run on Wednesday, March 26 at 9 p.m., and the entire cast and series creator Steve Franks will take part in a one-hour live show and Q&A at 10 p.m., titled Psych After Show.

"It has been an amazing joyride these last eight years," Franks tweeted after news of Psych's cancellation broke. "Thanks to everyone who tagged along for the journey."

"Psych has made an indelible imprint on the television landscape, with a unique brand of comedy," said Chris McCumber, President of USA Network, in a statement. "The final season celebrates the iconic characters that have made this show so beloved, and will be an exclamation point on the series' incredible run. And while the series will wrap in March somehow I don't believe we've heard the last of Shawn and Gus."

The fan favorite comedy isn't the network's first long-running comedy to end recently; Burn Notice ended its seven-year run last summer.

How much will you miss Psych's Shawn and Gus, Psychos? Mourn with us in the comments, won't you?
