Now that the Super Bowl is over, it's time for companies to start rolling out ads that are catered specifically for the next big event on the horizon: the Academy Awards. Also known as, the Celebrity Super Bowl. Or the Movie Super Bowl. Or Yet Another Event Celebrating Beautiful, Rich People. Take your pick.
Anyway, we will keep the video description vague until you watch it lest we spoil the surprise. But for those who have seen Gravity (last chance to get out before the spoilers!), then you know that Sandra Bullock's character makes it back to earth. She has to stumble and crawl a bit, but eventually she gets to her feet and manages to walk on solid land, thus ending her space nightmare.

Of course Sandra Bullock made it back to earth for McDonalds! We're more Taco Bell people, and we would go to great lengths to get to a Volcano Burrito. So we definitely relate to this ad on an emotional level. But we appreciate this commercial for the sheer fact that they didn't have to do much and yet the message is so brilliant. Just a quick photo shop job and sit back so Sandy can do the rest.
The short was made by Rod Blackhurst and it's part of the Oscar campaign for the movie. But mostly it's about McDonald's.
But we have to shame McDonald's a bit for spoiling the end of Gravity. Not everyone has time to see movies that aren't Frozen in theaters, OK?!
