Dr. Jennifer Arnold and hubby Bill Klein had some exciting news to share this week.
"What a wonderful way to celebrate #WorldCancerDay! I am done with cancer!" the 39-year-old neonatologist and mother of two tweeted Tuesday, less than two months after revealing that she was battling choriocarcinoma, a rare form of cancer that originates in the reproductive organs or a woman's placenta and can quickly spread to the lungs.
"It's official- ME 1 vs CANCER 0... I WIN! Thank you for all the prayers, thoughts, & support!" she added.
"I had my official last chemo treatment," Arnold told People. "And while I'm hesitant to say I'm cancer-free—maybe that's common for people who have had cancer—I'm doing great. Everything is moving in the right direction. I am very excited."
Arnold developed a mass in her uterus after a failed pregnancy and, following surgery to remove the mass, contracted pneumonia.
