The shock jock, who turned 60 on Jan. 12, marked the occasion on Friday, Jan. 31 in New York City with a star-studded bash.
The extravaganza was hosted and broadcasted by SiriusXM radio at the Hammerstein Ballroom and Jimmy Kimmel served as the evening's emcee.
The radio personality, who walked the red carpet with his wife Beth Ostrosky Stern, sported a white dress shirt with a black blazer, black pants and a gray scarf. The blond beauty wowed in a white crop top, which showed off her enviable abs, a matching long skirt and gold strappy heels. She completed the look with a blue necklace and a matching handbag.
The A-list crowd included Heidi Klum, Jenny McCarthy, Joan Rivers, Katie Couric, Robert Downey Jr, Jimmy Fallon, Lena Dunham, David Letterman, Bryan Cranston, New Jersey governor Chris Christie and many more. A bunch of the celebs took the stage to toast, and sometimes roast, the birthday boy.
The party was "festive and boisterous" but was a very classy affair, a source reveals to E! News. Stern gave thanks to everyone and to those closest to him for their support during his illustrious career.
Guests were treated to a variety of appetizers and finger foods, including shrimps, oysters, mini burgers, mini tacos and cupcakes.
Highlights from the evening included Fallon performing rapid fire impersonations of stand up comedians as well as Stern's longtime sidekick Robin Quivers receiving a hot lap dance from Ryan Phillippe. Talk about a Magic Mike moment.
The crowd was treated to many performances throughout the lavish affair. Dave Grohl sang "My Hero," which Stern has said reminded him of his father. Steven Tyler belted out "Dream On" and performed "Walk This Way" with Slash, while Adam Levine and Train gave an intense rendition of "Purple Rain." Rob Zombie, Jon Bon Jovi, John Mayer, Jewel and John Fogerty also took the stage.
