John Stamos on Full House Costar Lori Loughlin: "We're Great Friends" Who "Don't Have Sex"

Last summer, John Stamos confessed that his Full House wife Lori Loughlin was "the one that got away." Given his Thursday, Jan. 30, appearance on Bravo's Watch What Happens Live, it doesn't seem that the actor will ever get over the actress, who is married to fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli.

"We had great chemistry. We just had bad timing," Stamos, 50, said of his unrealized romance with Loughlin, 49. "She was married [to Michael R. Burns], then she got divorced, then there was about a week period that it could've happened, and then I met my ex [Rebecca Romijn] and I went that way."

Stamos, who appeared on the show with costars Candace Cameron Bure, Dave Coulier and Bob Saget, still keeps in touch with the mom of two. "She's just the model of a perfect person, a beautiful person, and we're still great friends," the actor raved. "We just don't have sex, but we're great friends."

Given that the cast is still close, is a reunion special possible? "The legacy is so important to us. Every year it just gets deeper and more important to everybody—we just have to do it right," Stamos said. "We've started working on a twist on a sequel but we don't know if it's going to happen yet or not."

Stamos also shrugged off reports that he "had something" of a romantic relationship with Demi Moore during their General Hospital days in the 1980s, explaining that "she was married at the time."

During their chat with host Andy Cohen, Saget also weighed in on a longstanding rumor that Alanis Morissette's song "You Oughta Know" is about Coulier, her ex-boyfriend. "I was at his house and he said, 'Alanis just hung up on me and said, 'Sorry to call you during dinner.' I was at his house when she said that to him," Saget said, referring to Morissette's line about bugging him in the middle of dinner.

The singer-songwriter has refused to identify the subject of her 1995 hit. "I like to think that we parted as good friends," Coulier said in September 2013. "I think nothing but the world of her. I think she's a pretty outstanding human being, to be quite honest."
