Gwyneth Paltrow's latest DIY project? Oh, just completely redecorating one of the rooms in her New York home.

Yes, instead of using a pricey interior designer, the Oscar-winner decided to take the task on solo. Well, not entire alone she did have the help of Room in a Box creator Windsor Smith.

In her latest Goop newsletter, the Thanks for Sharing star details each step of the new inventive process and gives fans a glimpse into her East Hampton pad.

"You go on the site, upload photos, dimensions, the pieces you want to keep, inspirational photos of your dream space, price point, etc. A few weeks later, your box arrives with an illustration of your new room, fabric samples, furniture and suggestions for everything from paint to art, all from the design studio of Windsor Smith," the actress explains (see her inspiration photos above).

In the original setup, the room appears to have a cream theme with rich pops of orange and purple.  But thanks to inspirations shots and a sneak peek at the 41-year-old's questionnaire we know that she wanted to transition to cooler tones such as greys and blues. She also wants a more "cozy" yet "elegant "feel and "a proper room to entertain in."

"Despite two attempts on her own to completely redesign the space, Gwyneth's living room in Amagansett continually stumped her—while it's spacious and filled with light, it had always been a dead zone in the home, where nobody seemed to spend time. It emerged as the perfect testing ground for trying Room In A Box," reads the "Before" caption.

The solution? To turn the space into a modern day salon, including sleek tables, modern wood chairs and a new palette of soft neutrals. Most importantly the room is now centered around the piano, which was previously in the corner.

The actress was "thrilled" with her new music room but then again it's basically impossible not to love these results.
