We hear it rains a lot in London, Camilla Parker Bowles, so really, you have no excuse.

The Duchess of Cornwall and her husband Prince Charles paid a visit to the town of Essex on Wednesday, Jan. 29, where they toured the Royal Opera House's workshop (the 65-year-old royal serves as patron of the establishment) as part of the High House Production Park in Purfleet.

And while today's royal engagement is nothing out of the ordinary when it comes to the couple's royal duties, we couldn't help but do a double take while looking at the pics of the pair en route to their location.

Namely, Camila has no idea how to hold an umbrella!

Although the rest of the surrounding folks, including Prince Charles, seem to have mastered the complex art of umbrella holding, Camilla carries her umbrella far too low, touching the top to her head in an effort to cover her entire face as well as her shoulders (perhaps she was having a really good hair day?!).

We're sure there's a YouTube tutorial for Umbrella Holding 101 in case you had any serious concerns (where's Rihanna when you need her?!), but since Camilla is a royal and all, we'll just let the duchess go along her merry way.

After all, she's lasted this long carrying an umbrella in the silliest of ways, so why start following traditional now?

Last week, Prince George's grandpa and his wife visited King's Hospital in Camberwell, London, where the 65-year-old royal was "fantastic" with the children, including the newborns in the neo-natal ward.

Safe to say the Duchess should stick to babies—not umbrellas.
