It's no secret that Jimmy Kimmel loves catching people fibbing during his "Lie Witness News" segments. And the latest edition is a doozy.

"I mentioned earlier, President Barack Obama gave his State of the Union address earlier tonight which sounds important," the late night host said on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Tuesday, Jan. 28. "But I don't think most people pay attention to the State of the Union. I think most people pretend to care about this sort of thing, but actually don't, so we put them to the test."

Yes, he did. A series of random pedestrians were asked about the important televised speech, but of course, they couldn't properly react without lying because it hadn't happened yet.

"It was awesome, I loved it," one man enthusiastically revealed.

Another guy was asked why he thought the speech was "special."

"Um, just that, he was addressing what everybody was talking about," the man said, somewhat stumbling over his words.

"Which was what?" a producer asked off-camera.

"Actually, I don't know, I haven't even seen it," he replied.

You are correct, sir. You haven't.
