Let's face it. If you're going to do an impression for the whole world to see, it's probably best to make sure you can at least do it well.

Case in point?

This Instagram video that Brooklyn Decker posted of husband Andy Roddick doing a less-than-steller reenactment of Jay Z's acceptance speech at the Grammys.

"This is what I make my husband do during award shows," the model captioned the clip, which finds the retired tennis player looking into the camera and saying in his, er, best Jay Z voice, "I'd like to say all the usual thank yous. Baby boo look at, Daddy got you a gold sippy cup. Oh!"

On Sunday, Jay Z won a Grammy for "Holy Grail," his collaboration with Justin Timberlake. After getting onstage and thanking "producers, Justin [and] all the typical things," Hova pointed to wife Beyoncé in the audience and thanked God for her.

"I want to thank God, I mean a little bit for this award, but mostly for that and all the universes for conspiring and putting that beautiful light of a young woman in my life," he said, before adding, "And I want to tell [daughter] Blue that look, Daddy got a gold sippy cup for you!"

Obviously, Roddick served up a shortened version.

Then again, that's probably a good thing.
