Rosario Dawson to the rescue!

Vanessa Hudgens took to Twitter on Monday, Jan. 27 to share an "amazing moment" with her fans from the Gimme Shelter premiere last week, revealing how her costar happened to find her driver's license one month after she lost it.

Lucky girl!

"The amazing moment when Rosario reached into the pocket of a jacket that was loaned to her by Alice + Olivia and found my driver's license," the 25-year-old beauty posted on both her Twitter and Tumblr page. "(I borrowed the jacket a month ago and it's just been sitting in the pocket waiting to be returned back home to me) #CRAZYBANANAS!!!! #crazytiming #thankgod lool"

While Hudgens looked absolutely stunning in a floor length gown with both beaded and sheer detailing at the NYC screening at the Museum of Modern Art on Wednesday, Jan. 22, the former Disney darling underwent a drastic physical transformation in order to take on her latest role.

The erstwhile High School Musical star plays Apple, a homeless 16-year-old mother-to-be who finds help at a suburban shelter, in the Ron Krauss-directed flick, and she opened up to E! News earlier this month about what it was like to play the troubled character.

"It was fun, it was really fun. Just because its so rare that you get to do that. I put on 15 pounds, ate whatever I wanted. I'm not complaining. I cut off all my hair, which really set the tone. It was such a liberating thing and kinda reminded me—if I can do that, I can do this," Hudgens told E! News of her transformation.

"And then, I just kinda tried to make myself as ugly as possible, whether that was the way that I walked or my mannerisms or the tone of my voice," she continued. "I wanted her to be strong and tough but broken because that's what she is. You just see her transform into someone who actually finds love and really feels it for the first time and there's nothing more powerful than finding love."

Gimme Shelter is currently in theaters.
