When we saw Abigail Breslin step out on the red carpet at the SAG Awards earlier this month, we couldn't help but notice her mature sense of style and killer body confidence.

The Call star may only be 17 years old with a sweet baby face to match, but her fashion looks this year have been hinting at a whole new level of sophistication!

She flaunted major cleavage in a fitted black strapless dress that highlighted her enviable curves at the 2014 SAG Awards, proving that her body and her red carpet fashion looks are now officially all grown up.

We tapped her stylist Jamie Schneider for additional insight on the young star's recently looks.

As for her dress selections as of late, Schneider tells us that she drew inspiration from another era.

"I was inspired by glamorous old Hollywood—Bette Davis, Elizabeth Taylor, Carole Lombard—especially when choosing her red Zac Posen gown and the black Chagoury gown she wore to the SAG Awards. The mermaid shape of the red gown and the long train on the black gown accentuated her body and made Abigail look like a star. Showing Abigail's diversity, the vintage Norma Kamali dress was young, fresh, and audacious—the second she put it on, we knew that was the dress."

The stylist adds that she's adapted to dressing Breslin as the actress grows up before her very eyes.

"Honestly, it was all a very natural evolution. When I met Abigail, I saw what a mature, beautiful young woman she was, and, I remember at our first fitting, I had pulled more poofy, princess dresses than fitted, body conscious dresses," she told us. "But right away I realized the latter was what worked for Abigail. She has such a mature soul and I think she is now expressing herself in the way she dresses."

We couldn't agree more!
