Here comes the bride?

John Mayer and Katy Perry have been dogged by engagement rumors for nearly as long as they've been a couple—and here's something that won't help!

Count Perry among the Keith Urban types who got misty-eyed during the mass wedding that took place last night at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards while Macklemore & Ryan Lewis performed "Same Love" with Mary Lambert, during which they were joined by Madonna, who finished with "Open Your Heart."

Queen Latifah officiated the diverse round of I-dos, which included couples of varying ages, some heterosexual and some same-sex unions.

But Perry didn't just cheer along—she was an unwitting participant!

"Congrats to all the #samelove couples tonight. You had me in tears of joy for y'all!" the doe-eyed pop star wrote on Instagram—along with a close-up photo of herself holding up a bunch of roses. "Also... Look who caught the bouquet!!! #okuuuurrrr."

And since tradition has it that the unmarried gal who just wowed the crowd with a medieval-stripper-chic version of "Dark Horse" and then catches the bouquet at a 33-couple wedding is the next to tie the knot...

(For the record, she didn't exactly catch the bouquet. More like someone handed it to her while she was enjoing the performance with her date for the show, brother David Hudson.)

But as we said, this adorableness won't do anything to dispel the notion that Mayer and Perry might be gearing up to tie the knot one of these days.

While keeping the PDA to a modest minimum, the couple still looked as close as ever at the Universal Music Group's Grammys afterparty, where they hobnobbed with fellow revelers and Mayer snapped pics of his girlfriend while she was chatting with pals like Kacey Musgraves and Anna Kendrick.

The festivities only got more festive as the night went on, too, with Mayer joining Perry and Kendrick for a round of champagne-chuggin—after which, it was to all a good night for the couple, who headed out a little after 11 p.m.
