First comes The Bachelor, then comes The Bachelor wedding!

Sean Lowe and Catherine Guidici's highly publicized live nuptials failed to bring in big ratings for ABC, as the special attracted just 6.2 million viewers and a 1.6 ratings in the adults 18-49 demo. Those numbers are down from the current season of The Bachelor, with Juan Pablo Galavis' last episode bringing in 7.8 million viewers.

However, Sean and Catherine's ratings were up 53 percent (in total viewers) and 60 percent (in the adults 18-49 demo) from The Bachelor's previous televised wedding, Ashley Herbert and J.P. Rosenbaum's 2012 ceremony.

Plus, Sean and Catherine faced some pretty big competition in the form of the 56th Annual Grammy Awards, with preliminary numbers showing 29.7 million viewers tuned into music's biggest night.

Many members of the Bachelor family attended the nuptials, including Daniella McBride, Trista and Ryan Sutter, Jef Holm, Ali Fedotowsky, JP Rosenbaum and Ashley Herbert. Real Housewives star Lisa Vanderpump and her dog Giggy were also in attendance.

Sean and Catherine swapped vows at the Four Seasons Resort—The Biltmore Santa Barbara on Sunday night, with the bride wearing a custom Monique Lhuillier gown. Sean's father, Jay, officiated the ceremony and called the couple's romance "an epic fairy tale on display for the whole world to see."
