Hilary Duff Goes on a Post-Separation Family Hike With Husband and Son

Actress, her estranged hubby and their little Luca took advantage of the sunny winter day in Los Angeles

Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie may be in the midst of a separation, but that hasn't stopped them from enjoying family days out.

After the duo and their son Luca were spotted heading into the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif., after revealing their split, the family of three headed out for a hike Sunday.

"Daddy&son #sunday #hike," Duff posted, along with an adorable shot of her estranged husband and their 22-month-old tot walking on a trail.

The 26-year-old actress made her first carpet appearance post-split at the Delta Air Lines 2014 Grammy Weekend Reception party in West Hollywood, Calif. Thursday, looking gorgeous in a short patterned dress, black pumps and a blue blazer.

While she stayed mum on the break-up at the event, she seemed to be in great spirits while chatting and laughing with friends before Lorde performed for guests.

A source close to the couple told E! News the couple's split was truly amicable, and they didn't call it quits for any particular incident. The duo rather drifted apart over time, despite trying couple's therapy to mend their relationship.

Duff recently sounded off about tabloid stories regarding their separation, saying, "Don't believe the s--t you read! & don't buy trash magazines! They are so gross and so negative. They literally make my skin crawl."

Hours after they announced their split, Duff tweeted, "Mike and I are sitting here. We are so appreciative for all of your kindness & well wishes. Not an easy day but we're getting thru it together."
