More snippets of X-Men: Days of Future Past hit the web this week.
The film's director, Bryan Singer, posted a teaser clip on his Instagram account—giving fans a little more insight on what they can expect to see in theaters.
In the clip, he teased parts of another trailer featuring most of the cast, including Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, Hugh Jackman, Booboo Stewart, Ian McKellen, Shawn Ashmore and James McAvoy.
The clip starts off showing a chained Wolverine, trying to free himself as he sinks to the bottom of the ocean.
After that, viewers catch a glimpse of a young Magneto meditating in an all-white uniform, J.Law's Mystique getting into an altercation with Fassbender's character, and much, much more.
"A full day of #XMen surprises is just around the corner," Singer revealed on the photo-sharing site.
There's already nine seconds of new shots squished into the Instagram teaser, and according to the director, there's going to be way more where that came from.
He posted that more details and clips would be released next week, on Jan. 27.
Days of Future Past reunites Jackman with his castmates from the original X-Men trilogy including Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen and Halle Berry and brings them all together with the ensemble of 2011's prequel, X-Men: First Class, for which he did a brief cameo.
So get ready, folks, 20th Century Fox confirmed to E! News last month that the highly anticipated film is due to hit the big screen on May 23!
