Watch: Making of Keith Urban's "Cop Car" Video

Good news for Keith Urban fans: The country star won't be stepping out of the spotlight any time soon.

Not only is the 46-year-old musician performing at the Grammy Awards this Sunday, but the American Idol judge also recently shot the music video for his single "Cop Car" from his latest album Fuse, and E! News has an exclusive look at the making of the romantic clip!

"The shoot today is being directed by John Urbano, who I've never worked with before but love his work and he's a great photographer, great director," Urban says as the clips shows Nicole Kidman's man, who is dressed casually in jeans and a gray t-shirt, singing in a barn with his bandmates.

"I had him pegged for this song, loved his vision for this whole thing," he continued as the slow tune plays in the background. "There are certain songs that are written sort of visually that you can sort of see this whole unfolding. So for me, shooting the video, the challenge for the video was really like anything where people have their own idea of what all this is visually and now we've got to actually give it a look. But at the same time it was incredibly easy to shoot the video. Because it's just…there it is."

After the BTS clip in the barn, Urban gives fans a sneak peek of the airport scene, which is where the song's romantic story plays out.

"We just shot the band performance portion here in a barn, we're going to on to airport and shoot all the stuff with the guy and the girl in the El Camino, um, playing out the story of the song," the newly short-haired stud, who shares a Best Country Duo/Group Performance Grammy nomination with Taylor Swift and Tim McGraw, teased. "More to follow."

Director John Urbano elaborated further, telling E! News, "So the idea for "Cop Car" is you've got this guy and this girl, they are kind of cruising around they end up on airport property, and you know, basically there are trucks passing and they're hanging out," he shared. "They're watching planes take off and then cops come pulling up and that's when it gets kind of hairy, you know, the cops are kind of roughing them up for trespassing...and while all of this is taking place the guy's just falling in love."

Too cute! And according to the director, the couple's chemistry was the most important ingredient in the music video mix.

"When we started this project, the biggest part, I think for Keith and I was to find a couple that was a real couple so when we're shooting and looking for that chemistry, it's already there," he explained.

We can see why!
