Sarah Silverman might've known that a PSA with her "Jesus f--king Christ" talking about abortions would get people's attention.

And just why is God's son (an actor portraying Him, actually) paying her a visit in this controversial YouTube clip? To discuss women's reproductive rights and specifically to talk about access to safe abortions in the state of Texas.

The video begins with Jesus telling Sarah he's upset by "people who use my name for tolerance and oppression" and asks the comedian to spread a message from him about abortion. "Fertilized eggs aren't people. People are people," he says. "But people who believe fertilized eggs are people are people, too. You have to love them. You're not better than them. "

Jesus and Sarah continue to chat, drink wine together and braid each other's hair. Then, the topic switches back to reproductive rights. "In many states, many laws have already been implemented that are making access to safe abortions less and less possible," says Sarah, who adds that, "Using religion to dictate legislation Is un-American but it's happening."

She urges others to join her and the rest of "Lady Parts Justice" in "V to Shining V," a nationwide event Sept. 27, rallying men and women together to raise awareness on women's reproductive rights. Per the organization's website, this will be "the big kick in the ass that we all need to step up, get loud, go to the polls in November and toss out politicians who think the problems in our home states are what we do with our vaginas."
