Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are writing a book!

The Grammy-winning singer and her America's Got Talent host hubby are penning a children's Christmas book starring—drumroll please—their twins, Moroccan and Monroe (nicknamed Roc and Roe).

The book will be titled Roc and Roe's Twelve Days of Christmas and will be released in fall 2014, Scholastic announced today. "The book follows Roc and Roe as they put their own unique spin on the Christmas carol," the publishing house said in a statement.

"We are so excited to work with the Scholastic team on our Roc and Roe picture book and we can't wait until this holiday season," Carey and Cannon added.

"It's been such a fun and collaborative process and we are thrilled to be working with Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey on this exciting project," Ken Geist, VP of Scholastic Press Picture Books, said in the press release. "Roc and Roe's Twelve Days of Christmas is the perfect book to read with your little ones—an adorable spin on a classic tale, sprinkled with humor and heart."

Roc and Roe's Twelve Days of Christmas will be illustrated by A.G. Ford. This is the first book for both Carey and Cannon.

Carey is of course no stranger to Christmas hits. Her famous holiday song "All I Want for Christmas" is a hit year in and year out.
