Singer takes a moment to acknowledge Beliebers in wake of his DUI arrest

Justin Bieber is free. (At least, for now.)

After posting $2,500 bail, the pop star left the Miami-Dade County Jail on Thursday, Jan. 23, following his arrest hours earlier for DUI after being pulled over for drag racing.

Upon exiting the facility, Bieber, decked out in a black hoodie, proceeded to jump on top of an SUV and waved to the throng of fans standing outside.

Prior to leaving the jail, the 19-year-old singer appeared via closed circuit TV wearing an orange jumpsuit as a Miami judge set his bail.

The hearing came just hours after Bieber was stopped for drag racing on Pine Street Drive at 26th Street. He failed a sobriety test and was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence. Bieber was charged with DUI, driving on an expired license and refusing arrest without violence. Attorney Roy Black, whose previous clients include William Kennedy, Joe Francis, Kelsey Grammer and Rush Limbaugh, is representing Bieber.

Meanwhile, as all the drama surrounding Bieber continues to unfold, one person who certainly seemed to be having a way more relaxing day was the guy's ex-girlfriend, Selena Gomez.

Casually dressed, but no less fashionable, the "Come & Get It" singer was all smiles as she strolled the streets in Tarzana, Calif., this morning, rocking a bindi during an errand to pick up a pack of cigarettes and a soda.

And despite recent speculation that she and Bieber have rekindled their relationship, a source exclusively told E! News on Thursday, Jan. 9, "Selena and Justin are not back together."
