In case you slept in this morning: Justin Bieber got arrested.
Beliebers are crying, the Internet is going wild and the media is having a meltdown.
The 19-year-old pop star was stopped for drag racing shortly after 4 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 23, on Pine Tree Drive and 26th Street in Miami Beach, Fla. He failed a field sobriety test, blowing a .04, and was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence. The legal drinking age in the state of Florida is 21.
Wearing a bright orange jumpsuit, Bieber appeared via closed circuit TV as a Miami judge set his bail at $2,500. He said nothing during the hearing, has since been released from jail, and, before entering his car, he sat on the roof and waved to his fans (we're sure these Beliebers were particularly appreciative).
But while Bieber's bad day may soon come to an end, his run-in with the law has resulted in what may be one of the most epic celebrity mug shots to date.
Grinning from ear to ear, the Biebs is all smiles in the photo obtained by E! News just hours after his arrest. The custody inmate information lists Justin's height as 5'9" and his weight at 140 lbs.
Although we think Justin's mugshot is one of the best, he certainly has some stiff mugshot competition from fellow celeb Lindsay Lohan, who has six mugshots to date.
And of course we couldn't forget about celebrity chef Cat Cora, who was busted for DUI in July 2012, but looked anything but disorderly when she posed for her mugshot, in which, by post-jail standards, she looked perfectly stunning.
And last but certainly not least is America's sweetheart Reese Witherspoon, who shocked the public when she was arrested and briefly jailed in Atlanta on charges of disorderly conduct.
