The Bluth family is getting back together!
Arrested Development fans are in for a treat because two of the cult classic's favorite characters are about to reunite on a CBS comedy. Jeffrey Tambor will join Will Arnett on his hit freshman series, The Millers, the network announced Wednesday.
Later this season, Tambor will play Ed Dolan, the owner of the station that Nathan (Arnett) works at. We're currently crossing our fingers that The Millers will mention at least one of Arrested Development's inside jokes that we've packed into this article.
In the upcoming episode, Nathan and Ray (J.B. Smoove) will pitch Ed a Saturday morning kids program inspired by the imagination of Nathan's dad, Tom (Beau Bridges). Aww, it's nice to see Nathan will be putting family first.
Tambor played the father, and uncle of Arnett's character, Gob Bluth, on Arrested Development, which returned for its highly anticipated fourth season on Netflix last year. Since Arrested's last season, the seasoned actor has been running around Hollywood guest starring in a number of hit series including Law & Order: SVU, Raising Hope and The Good Wife. Doesn't he know that there's always money in the banana stand?!
Tambor's episode of The Millers, is set to air later this season. There's no news if Steve Holt will also be appearing in the half-hour comedy.
The Millers airs Thursdays at 8:30 p.m. on CBS.
Do you think they've made a huge mistake? Good, we don't either!
