What a way to start the year!
Amy Lee is currently pregnant, the Evanescence rocker announced via Twitter on Saturday, Jan. 18. This will be the first child for the "Bring Me to Life" singer and her husband, therapist Josh Hartzler.
"Ok I can't keep it a secret anymore-I've been working on a very special new project for 2014-A BABY!" the 32-year-old musician told her followers. "Josh and I are expecting! I'm so happy!" Lee has yet to reveal whether she'll be having a boy or a girl.
Garbage frontwoman Shirley Manson was among the first send a sweet tweet to the mom-to-be. "Congratulations lil momma in waiting. So happy for you! Lots of showbiz kisses into the air! But really...that's so cool," the Scottish singer tweeted. Lee replied, "Thanks, Shirley! We're stupid excited."
Known for hit songs like "My Immortal" and "Call Me When You're Sober," Lee got engaged on Jan. 8, 2007. She and Hartzler got hitched four months later on May 6 and honeymooned near The Bahamas.
