Rashida Jones is trading in Leslie Knope for Michael Scott!

Jones has booked her first acting gig after her exit from Parks and Recreation as she's set to star in TBS' Tribeca, a sitcom co-created and directed by The Office' Steve Carell, E! News has confirmed.

The single-camera comedy will center on Jones' character Angie Tribeca, an outspoken 10-year veteran of the LAPD's EHCU (Really Heinous Crimes Unit). Described as a lone wolf, Angie isn't happy when she's told she has to work with a partner in the satirical look at a police procedural.

Production on the pilot is tentatively scheduled to begin in February or March in Los Angeles.

Co-written by Carell's wife, Nancy Carell, TBS said Tribeca "explores an eccentric but brilliant group of people who investigate crime, reveal way too much personal information, and refuse to rest until justice has been served...sort of."

Jones is set to exit Parks and Recreation in  the NBC sitcom's Thursday, Jan. 30, along with fellow star Rob Lowe. In the episode, aptly titled "Ann and Chris," Leslie (Amy Poehler) will throw the expecting couple a big farewell party, while Tom (Aziz Ansari), Ron (Nick Offerman) and Andy (Chris Pratt) try to find the perfect going away gift for Chris. With the show since it began in 2009, creator Mike Schur issued a statement after news of Jones' exit broke, saying, "Rashida was one of the very first people we knew we wanted in the cast, and as important as Ann is to Leslie (and vice-versa), she'll certainly never be far from Pawnee."

In addition to joining Tribeca, Jones has been busy as a producer and recently received a pilot order from NBC for a sitcom she is executive producing, A to Z.
