Forget going to the chapel—Kim Kardashian and Kanye West might be heading to the castle to say their I-dos this summer!

North West's mom and dad were "really impressed" by their private tour of the Palace of Versailles Sunday—so much so, in fact, that the future bride and groom have been "asking a lot of questions about how to put on the perfect wedding party" at the famed palace, a source tells E! News exclusively.

"They were both in [over] the weekend chatting about the food on offer, what the weather might be like, and how many people they can fit in the palace," says an insider. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, 33, and her rapper fiancé, 36, "just sneaked in after all the crowds went home" and were "both were amazed at how incredible it looks when nobody else is around."

"Kim in particular is really in love with the place," an insider tells E! News exclusively, adding that  "Kanye really likes it, too." The pair was "taking lots of pictures" as they toured the French mansion, including "a selfie snap in one of the main courtyards."

Nori's parents were also "raving" about the food on offer at Versailles, which can all be cooked fresh in the palace kitchens. Delicacies include foie gras and truffles, Breton oysters and sole, sliced veal with artichokes and calves' livers, just to name a few. And—talk about holy cheeses for Yeezus—each meal is served with a board containing "a minimum of 25 different types of cheeses."

And if requested, staff at the palace can be dressed up as "courtiers from the pre-revolutionary 18th century Court of Versailles," which includes "men in three-pointed hates and blowsy shirts" and "women in traditional French maid uniforms."

Now, if Kim and Kanye do have their (nearly royal) wedding at the Palace of Versailles, ornate gold and velvet thrones can be provided, allowing for the bride and groom to sit at the head of their guests like a king and queen!  (OMG.)

But because the Palace of Versailles is technically owned by the French government, its use is strictly controlled. If Kanye and Kim were not allowed to wed in the main palace, though, there are numerous summer houses and luxe chateaus available to them nearby.

Ooh la la. Get excited, dolls—Kimye's wedding will be one for the books!
