Having been in Hollywood for over two decades, Jennifer Connelly knows first-hand well how far celebs are willing to go to remain flawless in the public eye.

"The thing that really matters to me is well-being and happiness," the He's Just Not That Into You actress shares in the February 2014 issue of Allure magazine. "Maybe it comes from knowing people who have tortured themselves trying to meet these strangely narrow and rigorous definition of what our culture thinks is beautiful."

Being comfortable in your own skin is certainly important but she says finding actors you can be relaxed around is also an essential in her line of work. A prime example? Costar Russell Crowe. The duo famously paired up 12 years ago in the award-winning Beautiful Mind and now they will share the screen in Winter's Tale and Noah.

"We have an easy intimacy. We act together like the best kisses. We both bring equal passion," she enthused about the Oscar winner.

And speaking of intimacy, the star also gushed about working with husband Paul Bettany on their upcoming film Shelter, which he directed.

"One couldn't feel more safe as an actor knowing that the director's your husband. It's like, oh if I really make a fool of myself, I can just say, 'Honey, can you please not put that in the movie?' That was a great perk," she joked.

Connelly goes on to share that off-screen the duo are really enjoying parenthood together, but don't expect any more additions to their family. "I knew that we were going to be done after number three. That's enough for us."
