Sorry, but it's still so hard to realize that Abigail Breslin is nearly all grown up!

The 17-year-old actress has made it very clear that she's not Little Miss Sunshine anymore, but fans may still be a little thrown when seeing just how mature the August: Osage County star is.

Breslin showed up to the 2014 Critic's Choice Awards wearing a soft blue, cleavage-baring gown, with sheer sleeves and sparkling floral design. The star finished her look by styling her hair in big blond curls swept to one side and kept her makeup minimal but popped a red lip.

Along with her real-life image, Breslin has proven that her roles have matured as well.

In her latest film, August: Osage County, the 17-year-old actress plays Julia Roberts' troublesome teenage daughter, who enjoys smoking weed and even becomes the object of affection to an older man.

However, Abigail has openly explained that she's not trying to make a statement about breaking away from her childish image. "I don't make these conscious decisions to do it to like prove to the world that I'm grown up," Breslin told E! News in November when asked about her racy photo shoot with Tyler Shields.

"I think people see my work and see what I do and see that I'm grown up. But yeah, I'm almost 18. Every headline for the past three years has been 'Abigail Breslin All Grown Up,' so I am kind of growing up. I do want to try different things but its all for fun."
