One Direction fans may get defensive after this.

Actor William H. Macy stopped by Live With Kelly and Michael today to talk about a variety of things, including the ultra-popular boy band. Unfortunately, he didn't have great things to say about the young stars—gasp!

Macy explained that he once took his young daughter—who is obsessed with Harry Styles (um, who isn't?!) and even has a lifesize cut-out of the cutie in her room— to a 1D concert, and although he admits the guys are talented, he also stated that they were horrible performers.

"I've been in showbiz all my life," the star said, "So, let me just say, those guys can sing. They're very talented. They couldn't put on a good show with a gun to their head." Ouch.

The celeb went on to mock the group's choreography, or lack thereof, and said Styles was seen eating a sandwich in the middle of the show (LOL!).

"I mean call me old-fashioned, but when I'm downstage singing my heart out, you better not eat a sandwich behind me," he exclaimed, adding that the guys even had to have a wardrobe change from their "crappy jeans and stupid T-shirt" to "another pair of crappy jeans and stupid T-shirt."

Regardless, Macy attended the entire concert for his little girl and even bought her a shirt (along with whatever else her heart desired).
