FlightRisk/AKM-GSIBride-to-be Ashlee Simpson couldn't help but flash her stunning engagement ring as she left the Maui airport with fiancé Evan Ross earlier this week.
The 29-year-old beauty was photographed walking hand-in-hand with her man on Tuesday, Jan. 14, as the newly engaged couple prepared to jet set out of Hawaii, following the duo's romantic vacation during which the Hunger Games hottie proposed to his girlfriend of less than a year.
The attractive pair looked fashionable as ever, both dressed in their own travel chic ensembles as they smiled for the throng of shutterbugs. Ross carried a studded backpack and rocked a matching belt, wearing trendy lace-up boots, jeans and a black shirt.
Simpson, meanwhile, showed off her signature boho style in a black jumpsuit, nude high-heeled sandals, a stylish headwrap and a leather jacket. She accessorized her look with classic Ray Ban shades and over-size earrings in addition to her gorgeous Neil Lane sparkler.
Jessica Simpson's little sis announced the engagement news via her Twitter page on Monday, Jan. 13. "My baby love and I are ENGAGED!!! Hallelujah Hawaii !!!!!" she wrote, giving a nod to the Supremes' song "Baby Love," sung by Evan's mom and Simpson's future mother-in-law, Diana Ross.
Evan popped the question with a "marquise-cut diamond ring in platinum and gold, accented with rubies," a rep for Neil Lane told E! News.
And turns out, the Simpson gals really love their rubies as Jessica's engagement ring, which was also designed by Lane, features the same stone, except the older Simpson's design is almost exactly the opposite of Ashlee's.
Following the news of the couple's engagement, Jessica took to Instagram, posting a pic with the duo (which just so happens to be her second post on the photo-sharing site) and captioning the precious shot, "Family moment."
