Rita Ora is about to begin filming on Fifty Shades of Grey in Vancouver this week.
The singer arrived in Canada on Wednesday after spending a few days preparing for her role in sunny Los Angeles.
So how is Ora handing the pressure of starring in the highly anticipated movie (not to mention making her acting debut)?
A source tells E! News that she "is excited to be a part of the film" and is ready to take on the role of Christian Grey's sister, Mia.
"She doesn't know how long she'll be filming for," the insider added. "She only found out she had the part a few months ago."
And like everything in the film's production, casting decisions were kept under wraps until the very last minute.
"They're trying to keep everything very secretive. If they would have started casting earlier it would have been harder for people to keep quiet about it."
Ora first announced the news in early December via Twitter.
"It's official! I've been cast in @FiftyShades of Grey as Christian's sister Mia. #FiftyShades," the British singer tweeted.
The 23-year-old singer-actress joins previously announced cast members Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan, as well as Eloise Mumford (Anastasia's best friend Kate), Luke Grimes (Christian's brother Elliot), Victor Rasuk (Anastasia's close friend José), Jennifer Ehle (Anastasia's mother Carla) and Max Martini (who was cast as Christian Grey's bodyguard).
Produced by Michael de Luca and Dana Brunetti and directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson, Fifty Shades of Grey is due to hit theaters on Feb. 13, 2015—just in time for Valentine's Day!
