Everyone's still buzzing about the 2014 Oscars nominations from this morning, but the Academy Awards have been around since 1929!

Meryl Streep, whose August: Osage County performance earned her a Best Leading Actress nod Jan. 16, has received more acting nominations (18!) than any other actress. The late Katharine Hepburn (who is the second most nominated actress with 12 nods) currently holds the record for being the actress with the most wins (four). Meryl, with three Academy Awards already under her belt, could tie for this honor if she scores a win this year for August: Osage County.

Jennifer Lawrence, who was just nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role in American Hustle, is the youngest three-time nominee ever at age 23. She won a 2013 Academy Award for role in Silver Linings Playbook, but was first nominated at 20 for her role in 2011's Winter's Bone. She also happens be the youngest actor nominated for an Oscar in 2014.

But Tatum O'Neal, who won an Oscar for 1973's Paper Moon at just 10 years old, is the youngest winner in any acting category ever, while Quvenzhané Wallis, who was nominated in 2012's Beast of the Southern Wild at age 9, is the youngest ever nominee.

So which film has theearned the most nominations of all time? All About Eve (1950) is tied with Titanic (1997) for this honor, with both movies scoring 14 nods each. Titanic stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet also have a place an Oscars history. Leo scored his fourth nod today for his role in The Wolf of Wall Street,. Kate's performance in Labor Day didn't earn her a nomination, but she won an Oscar in 2008 for The Reader before and has been nominated six times in total.

If Leo wins a 2014 Best Leading Actor Oscar for Wolf of Wall Street, it will be his first Academy Award win ever. Think this might be his year?
