Nestlé has released a teaser commercial for its new product Butterfinger Cups, because yes, now candy companies are releasing promos for trailers now. Screw you, big Hollywood movies! You're not the only ones who can have posters for teasers for promos for full-length ads.
The actual ad for the new Butterfinger Cups will air during the Super Bowl, which as most of you know means that Nestlé has shelled out a pretty penny to get a slot during one of the most watched television events of the year. But if you are intrigued by this new product (and you should be, because Butterfingers are delicious), then you can sneak a peek at the ad in the video below.
The premise of the commercial is a room full of food couples waiting for their couples therapy session, like oatmeal and raisin and fish and chips. Peanut butter and chocolate come in for some therapy and everyone kind of sneers at them because they have a perfect marriage. It gets kind of weird when cheese and crackers comes in holding a very long sausage, but weird in a funny way.
