If Kristin Chenoweth's smile is a bit bigger these days, it's because she has plenty to be happy about.
Not only is she returning to Glee for the 100th episode, but she's heading to the set of Fifty Shades of Grey.
No, she's not in the movie—her boyfriend Dana Brunetti is producing the film.
"I'll go visit him in a couple of weeks," Chenoweth told me at the 2014 Golden Globes. "I've read the books. I was on tour and I was cutting out encores just so I could get home and read them. It was like, 'No second encore tonight—I have to get through chapter seven!'"
Has she asked to watch any particular scene being filmed?
"Anything with Christian Grey is fine with me," she laughed. (Yes, we tried to get Brunetti to spill on the movie, but he was tight-lipped. "I can't say anything," he said.)
This week, Chenoweth is shooting her return to Glee for the 100th episode. As I first told you, the pint-size vocal powerhouse is going to duet on a Pink song with Matthew Morrison.
"It's so fun," she said. "It's a song I never though I would sing. I mean, I love Pink. I just never thought I would sing her."
And we have to admit, we never thought we'd see the day that Chenoweth would chop off her long blond locks. But that's what she did about two months ago.
"It's hard for me to do myself, but when it's done for me, I love it," she said. "I do miss having a ponytail."
Brunetti is digging it. "I like the short hair," he said. "It's a nice change."
