TwitterAshlee Simpson is ready to tie the knot again!
The singer just revealed via Twitter that she and boyfriend Evan Ross got engaged while on vacation in Hawaii.
"My baby love and I are ENGAGED!!! Hallelujah Hawaii !!!!!" Ashlee tweeted this afternoon. (The nod to the Supremes song "Baby Love," sung by Evan's mom, Diana Ross, did not go unnoticed.)
This will be the second trip down the aisle for Ashlee, 29, who was previously married to Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz, dad to her young son Bronx.
For someone who hadn't tweeted since November, she sure packed a wallop in that one!
Jessica Simpson's newly betrothed little sister also posted a photo that provided a bird's-eye view of her ring, a marquise-cut diamond in what looks to be a vintage (or vintage-inspired) setting that mirrors the shape of the diamond.
Ashlee and Evan, 25, were first photographed together back in July and have been near-inseparable ever since.
They had been logging a lot of time with Bronx, doing family-oriented stuff like taking trips to Target, and Evan has been comfortable doing super-coupley things, like going on triple dates with Ashlee's big sis and fiancé Eric Johnson and Jess' BFF CaCee Cobb and her hubby, Donald Faison.
Simpson told E! News in November that she was "really happy" with Ross, and then he told us at the Hunger Games: Catching Fire premiere that he was bringing his girlfriend and her son home to his mom's house for Christmas.
Ross will be playing Messalla in Mockingjay Part 1 and Part 2, and Simpson gushed to E! last month that she was "so excited" for him.
