Is there a new romantic pair in Hollywood?
Russell Simmons, 56, was among the numerous celebs celebrating the Golden Globe Awards last night, and he was joined by American Pie brunette beauty Shannon Elizabeth, 40. The duo, looking glamorous for the event, attended one of the big afterparties and posed together for pictures.
The actress posted one of the snapshots on her WhoSay page, "At the Miramax party for the Golden Globes w/@UncleRUSH-waiting for the show to begin....good luck to all the nominees!"
Although the two seem fairly platonic in their picture, E! News learns that Simmons and Elizabeth showed a bit more affection while walking the red carpet for the Weinstein party last night. The possible couple even sat with Simmons' ex-wife Kimora Lee Simmons.
Their 16-year age gap may surprise some, but Uncle Rush has been known to date younger women. Simmons was last linked to model Hana Nitsche, who is 30 years his junior. The pair were last seen together in July, enjoying each other's company in Malibu.
And let's not forget his ex-wife—the 38-year-old model and mother of his two daughters, Aoki Lee Simmons and Ming Lee Simmons—whom he'd actually spent the holidays with this past year.
Elizabeth briefly dated dancer Derek Hough after appearing on Dancing With the Stars, and was previously married to actor Joseph Reitman.
