Let the public appearances continue for Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin.

The notoriously private pair abandoned their well, private ways, and attended the 71st Annual Golden Globes together.

Although the beautiful couple didn't walk the red carpet, they were spotted seated next to each other and grinning widely as they enjoyed the star-studded evening.

Martin's band Coldplay was up for Best Original Song for "Atlas" from Hunger Games: Catching Fire, but the British rockers lost to U2 (though Chris got a shout-out from the band onstage for helping them with their winning song).

As for the fashions, the Goop goddess opted for a longsleeve blue and gold mini dress, while the musician sported a black suit.

Leading up to the big show, the couple made several public appearances and some of the hottest pre-Golden Globes parties around town.

Paltrow was joined by Martin at Diane von Furstenberg's "Journey of a Dress" party, hosted by Veuve Clicquot on Friday, Jan. 10. The blond bombshell looked positively radiant as she wore a deep plunging DVF black wrap pantsuit.

A source revealed to E! News that the duo seemed to be having a great night together and was holding hands when they arrived.

On Saturday, Jan. 11, the pair engaged in some rare PDA at Sean Penn's Help Haiti Home gala at the Montage hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif. Paltrow cuddled up to her hubby and whispered in his ear, while Martin smiled as he listened intently to his wife.

An auction was also held at the charity gala, which benefitted the J/P HRO, and Martin won a large painting on a wooden board by British street artist Banksy for $650,000.
