Even though every celeb gracing the red carpet wants to be an original, great minds think alike, and there were a ton of fashion and beauty trends that cropped up during the 2014 Golden Globe Awards.

One of the biggest trends of the evening? Crimson. It was as if Hollywood just discovered the color red!

Everyone from Julia Louis-Dreyfus in Narcisco Rodriguez to Amy Adams in Valentino donned a red gown. But Lupita Nyong'o stole the show in a breathtaking Ralph Lauren red cape dress.

Another trend that we couldn't help but notice was short bobs. Taylor Swift tucked her long blonde locks under to create a faux bob, Zosia Mamet debuted her new short locks on the red carpet and Hayden Panettiere also showed off her slightly shorter cut for the 2014 Golden Globes.

And we're just getting started. There were plenty of statement earrings, red lips, plunging necklines, and more!
