Box Office: Lone Survivor Debuts at No.1, Frozen Takes No.2 Spot

Nothing could stop the Navy SEALs in Lone Survivor from taking the top spot this wekeend at the box office. Not even Kellan Lutz as Hercules.

The drama thriller, starring Mark Wahlberg, Taylor Kitsch, Emile Hirsch, Ben Foster and Eric Bana, debuted at No.1 and earned $38.5 million.

Frozen continued to fare well with moviegoers, taking the No.2 spot and making $15 million. The animated Disney flick has grossed more than $317 million domestically since its release.

Martin Scorsese's The Wolf of Wall Street came in at No.3 and took home $9 million. The film is up for two Golden Globes this evening, Best Motion Picture, Comedy and Best Actor in a Motion Picture, Comedy for Leonardo DiCaprio.

Millennium Films

The other new release this weekend, The Legend of Hercules, landed in the No.4 spot and raked in $8.6 million.

American Hustle, which is up for seven Golden Globes and ties 12 Years a Slave with the most nominations, rounded out the top five with $8.6 million.
