Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo are gearing up for a reunion.

While it hasn't been disclosed whether the former Vacation franchise stars are in store for another crazy trip together, the duo will reunite during ABC's 2015-2016 TV season, E! News has confirmed.

Deals have reportedly already closed for Chase and D'Angelo for the project, which is based on an original idea by Aaron Kaplan, the executive producer of the show, according to Deadline.

In March 2013, speculation started to fly that Chase and D'Angelo were set to reprise their roles as Clark and Ellen Griswold in a Vacation reboot, but the New Line film (set to star Ed Helms and Christina Applegate) has since been put on hold.

While details are still scarce on their TV project—there isn't a script, writer or studio attached to it yet—the site is reporting the show will center on a married couple (Chase and D'Angelo) in their 60s "who are finally enjoying their golden years"...until they are forced to raise their grandchildren.

The show would mark the veteran comedic actor's return to TV after his exit from Community in 2012.

Prior to leaving the NBC comedy during the show's fourth season, Chase had an outburst on set, giving his opinion of the show and using the N-word while he was at it.

Community star Joel McHale later opened up about the incident, saying Chase "didn't want to be there."

"When I would try [to get him to talk], he would just try to fight me," McHale told Howard Stern. "He physically wanted to fight me."

Hopefully, Chase's return to the small screen will be smoother this go-round.
