Does he or doesn't he?

That seemed to be the question on Parenthood's fans' minds since Ray Romano made his debut as Hank, the irritable photographer and Sarah's (Lauren Graham) love interest. He soon developed a bond with Max (Max Burkholder), Adam (Peter Krause) and Kristina's (Monica Potter) autistic son, leaving viewers to wonder if Hank also has Asperger's syndrome, but was never diagnosed. And we finally seemed to get an answer in a recent episode after Hank read a book on the disease and said, "I'm reading about me."

In an exclusive sneak peek from Thursday's all-new episode of the tear-inducing NBC drama, Kristina and Adam talk about what Hank's possible diagnosis could mean for Max in the future. While Adam is optimistic, Kristina is, well, you'll just have to watch and see.

After Adam tells Kristina that Hank asked him for Dr. Pelikan's (Tom Amandes) number, she automatically assumes something happened with Max, but it's for "another matter...I'm assuming the other matter has got to be him, right?" Adam says.

While Kristina is shocked to hear that Hank may be autistic, she admits, "He's very quirky, socially awkward."

But when Adam says "maybe Max could turn out to be like" Hank if the latter is diagnosed, Kristina's facial reaction is priceless. Seriously, just watch the exclusive clip above and bask in Monica Potter's awesomeness.

Parenthood airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. on NBC.

(NBC and E! are both part of the NBC Universal family.)
