Sosie Bacon's shining moment is almost here!

Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick's 21-year-old daughter has been named Miss Golden Globes 2014 by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, which means she will be on stage during Sunday night's big show, assisting in handing out all of the awards.

So surely, Sosie's A-list parents had some very helpful tips to give their daughter before her big night, right? Mmm, kinda.

"Since I haven't been that nervous, they haven't been needing to talk me down at all, but it's actually been pretty fine," the young beauty told E! News during the Golden Globes preview yesterday. But Kevin and Kyra still gave their little girl a few pointers.

"They just want me to practice walking in my heels, not trip. And yeah, have fun," she continued, which makes sense. Back when Sosie was named with the honor, she told E! News that she's "absolutely" scared of tripping on the Golden Globes' stage. "That's my biggest fear...I'm so bad at walking in heels. Clumsy is an understatement. I trip all the time."

Sosie added, "My parents are gonna be here. I'm hoping I can bring some friends and we're just gonna try to go to a couple [parties]. InStyle, definitely, and maybe the Fox party."

As for the actual show, Bacon confesses that she doesn't know of any secret plans producers may have up their sleeve. "Oh my gosh, no. I don't think anyone would tell me. They were smart not to."

Aside from her Miss Golden Globes duties, Bacon tells E! News that she's still pursuing a career in show business. "I'm acting now, I've been auditioning for the past six or seven months, so I'm definitely doing this as a career. Doing short films and indie features and readings."

Sosie previously told us that she's most excited to meet Claire Danes during the ceremony. "I absolutely love her...She's an amazing, amazing actress. I love Homeland. She's my No. 1."

Besides Danes, Sosie says, "I'm most excited about watching Amy Poehler and Tina Fey. I watched them last year, I couldn't stop laughing. I think its going to be awkward. I'm going to be on the side of the stage in stitches."

You and everyone else, sista!
