Justified's Natalie Zea Thought Fiancé Was Kidding When He Proposed: "I Was Such a Bitch"

Justified star Natalie Zea is revealing all about her engagement to longtime boyfriend Travis Schuldt.

"He was sweating," Zea told me last night at the Audi pre-Golden Globes party at Cecconi's in West Hollywood. "He started sweating…and then got down on a knee and he started saying things, and I thought he was kidding so I was smug for a good five minutes."

She cracked, "I was such a bitch."

He certainly wasn't kidding.

"The moment I realized this wasn't a joke is when he opened the box and there was a ring in it," Zea said. "I was like, 'Wait a minute, what is happening? What is going on right now?'"

Zea and Schuldt first met 10 years ago when they costarred on Passions playing a couple caught in a love triangle.

"We never ever in a million years planned on doing this," Zea said.

They already know their wedding will have just 18 guests. "I just keeping thinking to myself, 'It's just another party. It's just another party,' to get myself through it," she said.

Also at the Event Eleven-produced Audi party were Naomi Watts, Liev Schreiber, Elisabeth Moss, Christoph Waltz, Monica Potter, Sarah Silverman, Scandal's Joe Morton, Jesse Metcalfe, Cara Santana, Matthew Morrison and Derek Hough.
