Katie Holmes was an enthusiastic cheerleader at the New York Knicks game, sitting courtside on Thursday, Jan. 9, at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Suri Cruise's mama, who was joined by some pals as well as New York Knicks' executive chairman James L. Dolan, showed off her tremendous team spirit as she watched the hometown team face the Miami Heat.
The brunette beauty looked casual chic for her night out, wearing a light gray sweatshirt, skinny black jeans and camouflage print heels.
The 35-year-old actress was spotted watching the sporting match intently, but made sure to stand up and cheer during key moments.
Perhaps a highlight of the night for Holmes was catching a coveted basketball. The Thank You For Not Smoking starlet couldn't contain her excitement and grinned widely after grabbing a hold of the ball.
It's unclear if she got to keep it as a souvenir, but she did share a photo of herself posing with the ball on her Twitter account.
"Had the best time at the Knicks game tonight!" she captioned the snapshot.
Holmes wasn't the only celeb attending the game: Kate Upton also sat courtside and watched the showdown.
The two-time Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover girl, clad in an all black ensemble and Theodora & Callum's berry multi chennai scarf, smiled as she watched the close game.
It appears that Holmes and Upton were good luck for the Knicks: they beat LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and company, 102-92.
