Girls star is interested in what "varying shapes of eyebrows" say about women

Girls scene stealer Zosia Mamet is pursuing another passion: writing.

The actress opened up about penning a monthly column for Glamour magazine during a Thursday, Jan. 9, appearance on E!'s Chelsea Lately. "They basically told me I could write about anything I wanted, which I thought was sort of dangerous," Mamet said. Her first article will appear in the February issue.

Mamet found inspiration in the oddest places at the oddest times. She would correspond with one of the magazine's editors, who probably received a few too many story pitches.

"I sent her e-mails all the f--king time. I feel so sorry for this woman," Mamet, 25, admitted. "She'll get e-mails from me at like 4:00 in the morning and I'll be like, 'I wanna write about the evolution of eyebrows.' That was an idea I had. I was on the subway one day and there were all these women sitting in front of me who had all of these varying shapes of eyebrows. One of them, she'd shaved them off and they were blue and pointy. And I was like, 'What does this say about females?'"
