Juan Pablo's Bachelor Castoff Kylie Lewis: Producers Set Me Up to Be Humiliated

Perhaps Kylie Lewis should have tuned in to a bit more reality TV before signing up to the Bachelor.

One of the eliminated contestant from Monday night's show is slamming producers of the hit ABC series, claiming they set her up to fail and then proceeded to humiliate her on national television.

In case you missed the episode, Bachelor stud Juan Pablo selected another lovely lady (Kat) to receive a rose, but Kylie thought she heard her name, leaving the redheaded beauty mortified after learning she was not the chosen gal.

And now, Lewis is jumping to her own defense, telling TMZ producers set her up for her rejection before going out of their way to air the embarrassing clip.

The report states that Kylie was instructed to dye her hair from strawberry blond to red, wear a pink dress instead of a purple gown and tweet Juan Pablo immediately after they met for the first time—instead of presenting him with a piece of her artwork as she intended—which she says made her look desperate.

She later elaborated on the embarrassing moment while speaking with Chicago's B96 on Tuesday, Jan. 7, admitting the long hours of filming most likely caused the mishap. "Everyone sees that in five minutes, but that rose ceremony probably took an hour to film, so you're standing there and that's 6 a.m. after filming for 10-plus hours…So that's the part that no one really realizes, so you're already delirious"

As for her sentiments towards the show since being eliminated?

"Watching the show is so strange. It's like reading a book that has so much info in it and you're like 'Where's this part, where's that part?'" she said on B96. "My limo entrance was suggested to me by producers, and I agreed, to it, it's not that they force you to do anything, it's just that they come up with ideas, and then you go with it. And I have no hard feelings towards Juan Pablo at all, but we all agree that he seem very distracted."

While she may not have any ill will towards the Bachelor hottie, it was undoubtedly difficult for Lewis to watch Monday night's episode.

"FINALLY.The weight has been lifted. I received no rose, but the support I have felt along the way means more to me than I can ever explain," she tweeted shortly after the show aired.

And, when asked by a viewer how she felt after relieving the humiliating rose ceremony, she wrote, "I felt like I was going to throw up (again) and then I cried a little (again). Then I raised my glass to a new year!"

The Bachelor airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
