The Bachelorette alum stepped out for the first time since E! News exclusively broke the news that she is engaged to her boyfriend Tyler Johnson.
Emily was seen making a quick visit to a local school near her Charlotte, N.C., home on Tuesday afternoon.
The bride-to-be looked cozy in an oversize sweater, leggings and knit boots while she ran her errand. She gave her winter chic outfit a pop of color with a bright pink scarf to help keep her warm.
She wore her unique engagement ring, which is a stunning diamond band, with multiple stacked rings surrounding it.
The public outing came merely hours before it was revealed that Emily was popped the question recently at her home in Charlotte.
According to an insider close to the couple, the reality star and her leading man are said to be "so excited" about the new chapter of their lives.
And it looks like Emily finally got the fairy-tale ending that she wished for.
E! News learned that her beau orchestrated quite a romantic proposal, which included asking both Emily's father and her daughter Ricki's paternal grandparents for permission beforehand.
Tyler then filled her house with flowers and candles, the source added.
Ricki was there and Emily "knew immediately what was happening" when she saw the beautiful display.
Understandably so, the emotional moment wasn't without happy tears.
"She was crying," the insider revealed. "She's super happy. He's her best friend."
And perhaps most important of all, Ricki "absolutely loves him. She adores him."
Emily is "over the moon," our source added.
